Safe Routes to School
Revamped for the 2021/2022 school year, our high-energy, multimedia assembly aims to reinforce school-wide and citywide Safe Routes to School (SRTS) initiatives. Our concerts and workshops feature Hip-Hop songs and videos to teach pedestrian and bike safety in a fun, engaging format. Our virtual concerts are available to stream asynchronously at schools so our assemblies can fit any school’s schedule.
Why Safe Routes to School?
Safe Routes to School programs aim to make it safer for students to walk and bike to school and encourage more walking and biking in our communities. Underserved communities deserve particular attention, in part because they tend to have more pedestrian and bicyclist injuries. Music Notes provides multimedia concerts, songwriting workshops, and PSA video production services to empower students to take ownership of pedestrian and bike safety messaging through songs that can be shared at school and within the local community.
Assembly Previews
Music Notes performs age-appropriate concerts that teach walking and biking safety through hip-hop songs and videos. Students are encouraged to sing and dance along throughout the show for a high-energy, interactive, and educational experience.
